An acquaintance reached out to help secure funding to scale up her dream. Already the owner of two properties through sweat equity, she wanted to take advantage of a sales opportunity, buy more rental properties, and make enough from that to offer pro bono legal services for refugees and victims of domestic violence. After a few phone calls, I compiled a business proposal to her local credit union.
